Why have my Porsche Boxster’s brake lights stopped working?

As with all light issues, the obvious starting point is to check whether the bulbs need to be changed. However, if all the brake lights have stopped working or the problem is intermittent, it is unlikely to be the bulbs.

One strong possibility is a failed brake light switch. This is an inexpensive part that can be fitted and tested in an hour, so it should not cost much to get your Boxster back on the road.
