Is the clutch in my Porsche Boxster / Cayman meant to be this heavy?

People’s ideas of what feels like a heavy clutch differ wildly, so internet forum discussions on the issue can be misleading.

The easiest way to work out whether the clutch pedal is heavy is to compare it with other cars you have driven. The Boxster’s clutch should be one of the lightest and if it isn’t, it is likely to be a sign of wear.

A good Porsche specialist will have no trouble diagnosing the problem and, if necessary, replacing the clutch using genuine / Porsche-approved parts.
